How verification works

An entry is a section, a requirement in plain words, the number it turns on where there is one, the primary source, and the date the text was read. The date is the claim: on that day the section said this. When the regulation changes, the entry is reread and the date moves, and every page that cites it moves with it, because pages render from the library rather than repeating it. An entry older than ninety days is a warning on the scoreboard, whether or not the rule changed.

What this page is not: legal advice, a statement about any appliance or business, or a certification. It is the reading list. The comparison is dated the same way for the same reason.
