The free tools

Everything you type into a Wuzler calculator, ingredients, prices, quantities, yields, your menu prices, is processed in your own browser and is never transmitted to us. We do not receive it, cannot see it, and do not store it. Reload the page and it is gone. There is no account and nothing to sign up for. The same is true of the refrigerant tools: full charge, refrigerant, what was added and the dates stay in your browser, and the leak rate is computed there.

If you buy a paid version

Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers. From a completed purchase we receive the Stripe checkout session identifier and the email address you gave Stripe, which is what makes it possible to re-issue your licence key if you lose it.

For LineCost, your licence key is derived from the purchase itself: no password, no user account, no profile. For Wuzler Refrigerant Log, the purchase is tied to the account you signed in with (below), so the tier follows the email address.

Stripe processes your payment data under its own privacy policy, which you can read at stripe.com/privacy.

Saved work in LineCost Pro

LineCost Pro keeps your saved work, recipes, ingredient prices, in your own browser. We never receive it and could not read it if we wanted to. The export files you download are yours and live wherever you put them. The only thing checked against our server is your licence key.

Accounts and records in Wuzler Refrigerant Log

The refrigerant ledger is different, because a record a contractor hands an owner has to live somewhere both can reach. An account is an email address. There is no password: sign-in is a link sent to that address, which works once and expires in fifteen minutes. Signing in sets one cookie that identifies your session for thirty days. It is not a tracking cookie and is sent to nobody else.

What you put in the ledger, appliances, their serials and full charges, service visits, the refrigerant added and who added it, and the leak rates computed from them, is stored on our server under your account, because the rule requires it to be kept for three years and you may need it on a different day and a different device. We use it to show it back to you, to compute the figures the rule asks for, and for nothing else. It is never sold, never shared with vendors, and never used to contact you.

You can export everything at any time. A deletion request to the address below removes the account and its records; we will confirm when it is done.

Analytics and cookies

This site runs no analytics and sets no tracking cookies. The one cookie that exists is the sign-in session described above, and it is set only when you sign in. There is no advertising, no third-party tracking pixel, and no cross-site profiling. If we ever add privacy-respecting analytics that count page views without identifying visitors, this page will say so before it goes live.

What we never do

• Sell or rent your data to anyone.
• Send marketing email you did not ask for.
• Use your recipes, prices or refrigerant records for any purpose other than showing them back to you and computing the figures you asked for.

Wuzler is one operation running several small tools. This policy applies to all of them: LineCost, Wuzler Refrigerant Log, and anything added later.
